Starting with protection: the Black/White HydraFlux 2 Air D-Dry® carries EN 1621.1 certified composite protectors at the shoulders and elbows as standard fitment. These are removable if needed, and the jacket includes a dedicated pocket sized for Dainese G1 or G2 back protectors, making it straightforward to build out the protection level to match your riding. The D-Dry® membrane is what makes this jacket weather-adaptable rather than season-locked. It pulls out cleanly from the jacket, folds into a compact package, and stores in a pocket without creating any obvious bulk. When rain or wind moves in, it goes back in just as easily. For riders on longer trips or unpredictable routes, that flexibility matters more than a dedicated rain jacket taking up bag space. Underneath it all, the Omega mesh shell and QuickDry fabric inserts manage airflow efficiently during warm weather riding.
